Education
Every child - regardless of where they live - should have access to good quality primary education. This means that even the most disadvantaged – such as girls, those with disabilities, ethnic minorities and children affected by HIV and AIDS – need to be able to go to school.
CUSO-VSO education volunteers work with colleagues locally to support them to improve their teaching methodologies and practices. You could also be working with government (centrally or regionally) on curriculum development and school management or even working to advocate for better benefits for teachers.
Roles are generally longer term, ranging from one to two years and you could be working in countries such as Cambodia, China, Namibia, Cameroon or Rwanda.
